Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These personal dry erase whiteboards help our students be interactive during direct instruction. Once they hear, Flip it!" all their boards go in the air and I can check their answers. The whiteboards we currently have are worn out, so these new whiteboards will be a great resource.

The individual whiteboards also serve as a flat surface for students to carry to use for walk-around projects.

The best part of these boards is I can quickly assess understanding. The magnetic erasers will help the student not to lose it.

As a first-grade teacher, one of my goals is to help my students become better writers. In my classroom, we practice letter formation and sentence structures every day. Which means we use a lot of paper. I always run out of writing paper towards the end of the year. The paper I have requested will definitely help support my students by providing paper for them to practice their writing skills.

Every item in this project will benefit my first graders so they can make huge strides in my first grade class.
