This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are creative and enjoy having a space to express themselves. Even as we maneuver through this new way of learning, they are enthusiastic and eager to learn new ways o learning. Many of their strengths are shown when they are given the opportunity to be creative and explore new ways of doing things.

Despite the many challenges they face, I am looking for ways to provide my students with creative and meaningful learning experiences.

My school is a Pre K-5 elementary school dedicated to moving students and creating new ways to reach them. We believe that our students are the leaders and we as teachers are the facilitators. Most have known each other since kindergarten, so there is a strong sense of community and camaraderie. They are a learning community that deserves the opportunity to aim and achieve with the proper resources. Many of my students come from a low socioeconomic homes and love to explore things that they aren't readily afforded. I am confident that with the proper means, they can be the creators and explorers they set out to be.

My Project

Reflex Math is an online gaming program that will help students maximize their knowledge of multiplication and division facts. Students will practice daily through games.

Explore Learning Reflex helps all students succeed!

Individualized for each student, Reflex is the most effective system for mastering basic facts in multiplication and division. Students can even go back and practice addition and subtraction facts if that is where they need to start.

Reflex takes students at every level and helps them quickly gain math fact fluency and confidence. Teachers and parents can see student growth and how they gain knowledge and confidence throughout the year.
