Mr. Eaton from Wake Forest NC is requesting flexible seating through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
Help me give my students exciting seating options such as wobble chairs and yoga balls, to keep their minds and bodies active!

My students are energetic, thoughtful and very eager to learn. They love to work around the classroom and be active. We are a part of a small school, where they are about to form close relationships with their peers, teachers, and other school staff. They are very supportive of each other and work to do their best and encourage each other to do the same.
These materials will improve students’ learning in all areas. Using the stools instead of chairs at their desks will allow students to move while remaining in their spaces.
My class loves to move and misses being able to work around the room.
Having these different seating choices will bring excitement to a year full of unknowns and will allow students to be active in all aspects of learning.
While taking many precautions to remain healthy and safe, so we can continue to learn in person. Unfortunately, these precautions limit the choices that students have to decide where and how they work best. Introducing flexible seating choices will give them some of those choices back while encouraging them to stay active.
