Flexible Space Savers

My students need tables to work collaboratively in our new flexible seating options. With these tables, we can push them against the wall for half-circles, or fold them up and get them out of the way.

My Students

My students live in Colorado, in a northern suburban area of Denver. We are a public school and therefore funding for unique ideas is lacking. Despite our lack of funding, the students are able to work hard and achieve amazing levels. Like many other classrooms across the nation, we strive to create a classroom environment that enhances learning so that children can reach their full potential.

These students are reaching great heights in spite of the limited funding.

As teenagers, they're yearning for opportunities to be active, not only mentally, but physically as well. They need an opportunity to move about.

My Project

These tables are going to revolutionize my classroom. Since each of them are foldable, they can be stored out of the way to open the room entirely, or only half can be dropped and have stations against the wall. I love the flexibility these offer, and I'm certain my students will be excited as well.

These tables will offer traditional desk-style seating for those who want that, but still allow room for flexible seating around the room.

We recently added gamer chairs, wobble stools, and balance balls to the classroom, and we're excited about this next step in revolutionizing our room.
