I am the lucky teacher of 24 amazing third graders. They come to school eager to learn and build their knowledge. They are determined, energetic and love to apply their skills. My students have limited resources and are from a low-income/high poverty school with 100% free lunch. Just getting to school can be a challenge for some of them. But we persevere!
Living in Butte County and dealing with the Oroville Dam evacuation, Camp Fire, and their daily struggles, my students have built up some resiliency!
I want to make sure coming to school each day is fun and engaging! My students work hard everyday! They put their best foot forward and try to apply what they know. They love hands-on learning and building team projects which has lead to a beautiful classroom rapport!
My Project
These tables and caddies will help my students learn and work in a collaborative group. They enjoy learning from each other and these tables provide them with the perfect place to dive into their hands-on projects as well as independent work safely and comfortably. The floor table allows students to sit comfortably and work on their core strength. The caddies will allow students to take responsibility of classroom supplies and share their tools with each other. The caddies will also allow our supplies to be accessible to students at tables and keep us organized! These materials would be a great asset to our classroom!
