My students need flexible seating options in my counselor office. The Flex Space Comfy Couch and Wobble Chairs will help my office to have more flexible seating options for students.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are part of a Title I school in Conroe, TX. They come to school everyday ready to learn, work hard, and do their best. They consistently outperform the expectations for our school in test scores and show great strength of character in the way that they work with their peers and teachers. I am very blessed to work with such an amazing group of students.
My students have a true heart for helping others and showing kindness.
Last year our students participated in a Pennies for Patients campaign where they helped raise money for kids with cancer by bringing in loose change. Our school goal was to raise $1,000 and they quickly crushed that and by the end of the campaign they had raised over $7,000 to help kids with cancer. My students live in a low socioeconomic area where they and their families have many needs and yet they still show a true heart for giving and helping others. My students inspire me to be better and I am proud to have the honor and privilege of being their counselor.
My Project
The flexible seating furniture that I am requesting for my students will help me to update my counselor office to be a more fun and engaging area for students at my school. I meet with students in my office for various reasons throughout the day including small groups lessons, behavior support, stress relief, and student concerns just to name a few. The couch and wobble seats will provide additional seating options for students that visit my office and the toy bin will provide easy storage and organization of various toys and games that my students use in my office each day.
My students will feel more comfortable and engaged when visiting my office when they have a problem or when meeting with other students for a small group lesson if they have greater flexibility in choosing where they sit.
The products that I have requested will help improve my office to make it a more functional and kid-friendly place for students to work and grow.
