My students need wobble seats to help them with excess energy and keep them focused on the lessons. The soft seats will be used in our small reading groups and allow the students to be comfortable.

My Students

Every August as I begin to set up the classroom I think of the many ways to make an inviting environment that will allow the students to feel comfortable, inspired and take ownership of the classroom. Flexible seating is one way to give the students the opportunity to find a way use up extra energy and increase motivation.

My students are a hard working group of kids, who are excited to learn everyday.

Flexible seating would be a way to continue their success.

My Project

My project will make a difference in encouraging students to get up, move about the classroom and help mange their energy. Simple in-class activities can boost performance. Flexible seating can have students engage in their seating arrangements which can better transition times and even encourage group work with their peers.

Students will also be made aware of how to use flexible seating as an educational tool to improve their listening skills during small reading groups, writing and their posture.

Flexible seating in the classroom can also inspire and motivate the students to be more creative working in a non-traditional classroom environment.
