My Project

My students are so unique and special in the way they interact with each other. Our school's core values revolve around courage, compassion, community and confidence and our students truly exemplify those character traits. One of my favorite ways to encourage these qualities is by teaching students social and emotional skills to build resilience. We attempt many STEM challenges, answer tricky questions and learn through our curriculum that it is okay to try new things, make mistakes and feel proud of their learning. I'm hoping to include a variety of flexible seating options to support learning for every student, and give them the choice to move and learn in a way that is developmentally appropriate for them.
