This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are motivated to learn Spanish in middle school so they can earn high school credit. They are 95% at risk for not graduating based on their socioeconomic backgrounds, but we have labored to give them a college-bound mindset!

My Project

My goal for this year is to have flexible seating throughout my classroom so that the places the students can learn are almost as varied as they are. We would love to have places to read and places to stand up when sitting doesn't help us think. During our What I Need period we are focused on social-emotional learning but have a standard classroom setup.

Flexible seating is proven to help with focus while addressing different learning styles.

Please help our environment by providing these awesome chairs which I can wipe down after use!
