This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

Our class is a diverse group of eager learners. We enjoy a challenge and refuse to give up when the learning gets tough.

We want to explore our world, and discover new and exciting things.

We imagine how we will change our world for the better.

My Project

Flexible seating helps us focus by redirecting our energy while keeping us safe. Wobble stools and Yoga balls help us develop good posture, keep our feet on the floor and our minds on our learning.

Research has shown that giving students seating options like wobble stools helps them focus while giving them just enough wiggle room so they do not feel confined.

It gives them an outlet for their high energy bouncing legs so they can put their minds to work solving math problems and learning to read and write.
