Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a first year teacher so this is my first class ever. They are an energetic group of kids who love sitting on the carpet and walking around the room when learning. I work at a school where the children might not have the best home life, but despite that they come to school everyday with a smile on their faces. There are a few students who bring the problems from home into school with them, and I try my best to help them feel better! Everything I have in my donors choose page, I know will help benefit my students and their learning throughout the year!
My Project
These materials will have a significant impact on my students learning. There is so much research behind flexible seating in the classroom. When you donate, you will be providing my students with some stools they can sit on and some floor chairs
Flexible seating will provide so many benefits for my students.
Flexible seating allows students to have an option when wanting to do work on the carpet or in a seat with a clipboard!. An uncomfortable student, is a distracted and unproductive student. Flexible seating encourages students to find their best spot to stay calm, focused and productive. t also allows them to change their location and positions as needed.
