Our students come from diverse socio-economic and diverse backgrounds. One hundred percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. We are a Title I school and are beginning the process of becoming an AVID school. I am so excited to introduce them to flexible seating and self-advocacy.
Our students come from diverse educational backgrounds and socioeconomic status.
Some of my students have limited resources in their homes. When they come to my classroom, I want them all to feel like an equal regardless of their race and socioeconomic status.
Your donations will allow my students to choose the type of seating they want to use. Think about a meeting you were last in. Did you have to sit on a chair for more than 1 hour? Try seating for a long period of time and asking a student to learn at the same time.
I am requesting stools to increase my student's attention span and comfortable seating.
Having flexible seating will allow my students to choose where and what they want to be seating on. By giving my students this autonomy, it will allow them to take charge of their learning.
