My Students

Our school is located in rural Minnesota and we teach a wide range of students with multiple abilities. We have just converted to a 5-12 building. Our School motto is to Expect the Best- This if of our students, staff and community. Our students are the best!

My goal is always to help EVERY student achieve their potential and that starts with the environment of my room.

Not every student learns the same way and we need to do what we can to help them learn in their way.

My Project

All students learn and are comfortable in different environments. The flexible seating options will give my students the choice to sit in the types of "chairs" that work best for their learning style. Choice will include high stools for my stand up desks, stools for lower tables, yoga balls for students who need more movement, pads to sit on floor, and regular chairs. This will help students who prefer to sit on/by floor, students who like to stand and students who like working at more of a traditional table. This should help all learners focus on content material more effectively.
