My Students

I teach twenty one first grade students who are very unique. Out of four first grade classrooms, I have the most students. They all come from diverse backgrounds and have grown so much from where they started in the beginning of the year. They love to help each other and are turning into well rounded hardworking students. They have also overcome academic and behavior challenges. My students are what motivate me everyday to be the best teacher I can be. I love my students and don't stop working until they are successful.

My Project

My students will benefit from this flexible seating by being more attentive to their learning. They are telling me that the hard seats they have to sit in are too uncomfortable and they have trouble staying in their seats to learn. I want to provide them with a comfortable learning environment and then they will be more attentive and achieve more in the classroom. This will also help with classroom management where I can give them even more compliments on how they do a good job especially in the afternoons for reading groups. If you choose to donate my students and I would be forever grateful.
