I teach at a school that 100% of students are on a free lunch and breakfast program. My students have faced many difficulties and challenges that children shouldn't have to face on a daily basis. Despite those challenges, my class is such a creative, fun, and hard working group of students with the want to learn. They have excitement for school and enjoy diving into learning. They never let the struggles they face bring them down and they always come to school excited to learn more. It makes being their teacher the most wonderful thing.
My Project
A lot of my third grade students have the wiggles. Sitting still is almost impossible for them during the day. They want to lean back in their chair or sit on the edge, which I can't allow them to do because of safety reasons. These flexible seating options will allow those students with the wiggles to have movement during class while also being safe. It's the perfect way for them to get energy out while also staying focused so they can learn and grow. We would love for you to help us out by giving us these flexible seating options.
