We teach a group of fun-loving and hard working kindergarten students. As a whole, we have sixty students. Each student comes from a different background and socioeconomic level.
Our students come in with a range of knowledge and abilities.
It is exciting to see the growth in their learning throughout the year. We believe that flexible seating will help enhance their learning, as they will take ownership in their learning and will have an energy outlet to help them focus.
Our wish is to instill a love of learning at a young age. In order to help our students have a successful kindergarten year, we believe that it is important for them to feel comfortable in their learning space.
Our goal is to provide flexible seating to each student in our classroom. This will give students voice and choice, which will help motivate them to do their best. We have researched the benefits of flexible seating in the classroom and can't wait to implement it this year.
These wobble stools will allow our students voice and choice in their seating each day. Students will be able to make a choice that will help them to be the best learner they can be. It will also provide them with an outlet to get their wiggles out. Research has shown that flexible seating helps students to focus better on their work, as well as focus better during lessons while at their seat.
This seating will greatly benefit our students and provide them with the tools they need to be successful.
Students are much more engaged when they have choice in their learning.
