Our world has many different opportunities to explore with technology. In my classroom, I believe every child has the opportunity to bring something unique into the world. I strive to build confidence in my students, create a love of learning inside, and ultimately be eager to learn.
Each child already brings a high level of excitement each day.
As of 2013, 65% of the district received free or reduced-price lunch, and it has shown an increase year to year. Our district has a unique program that allows the children in our district to receive a healthy breakfast, since many students' only meals come at lunchtime.
We all love to be comfortable when working. . . my students are no different. This is their first experience in a classroom. My goal is to create an environment for success. I have transformed my classroom from a traditional classroom into a flexible seating classroom. There are a few more items that I would love to see in this room.
With the addition of the Kore stools into our classroom, students are able to complete work independently or with a partner while maintaining their balance on these stools.
Throughout my years as a kindergarten teacher, I was able to grow my classroom through donations and the Scholastic Reading Club. I am so excited to continue to furnish my classroom with flexible seating.
