Despite the low income homes many of my students come from, they still thrive in my classroom, and are always imaginative, loving, and bright. They bring joy to the classroom, and always use their creative mind. It gives me so much joy to see their big smiles every morning and to see how much the children love coming to school.
I love being the one teaching these kiddos.
I have many different academic levels and needs in my classroom. As their teacher, my goal is to provide my students the environment they need in order to continue growing into the wonderful students they are.
My Project
I currently have a wobble seat that a student uses to help her. Everyone now wants one and I know more students could benefit from this option. These seats are great because the student gets whole body exercise and engaging the core engages the brain! Some of my students prefer to work on the floor, which is why we also need options for floor work like the lap desks. Being able to wiggle or choose the environment that will allow the student to put forth their best effort helps engage and focus a student, and having a "special" seat encourages and motivates a student to do their best work.
