My Students

Our school is located in Westwego, Louisiana, not far outside of New Orleans. I have a group of amazing kiddos who are eager to learn and love coming to school.

My students are creative, energetic and full of life!

They absolutely love hands-on, engaging activities that allow them to think outside the box and be interactive! Each child in my classroom absolutely loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. We incorporate a variety of learning strategies, group work, and learning options to ensure that each student's needs are met, right where they are! They are truly an incredible group, and I am so lucky and thankful to have a new group of learners that are excited and ready to learn each year!

My Project

My students need flexible seating to allow them to move around while they work. I have a group of energetic little ones who love to wiggle and move! It is so difficult for them to be expected to sit in their chairs and work at tables. By adding the wobble chairs and yoga balance ball seats my students will be able to get their energy out while working!

With these new flexible seating options, my students will be able to wiggle while they work!

Having these options for movement will increase their attention span and help them stay focused on their activities!
