My Students

I teach two groups of 26 fifth grade students daily. Many of these students have learning accommodations that allow them to take breaks and have flexible seating options. With this number of students in the room and two adults for the majority of the day, space is extremely limited!

My students would benefit from more flexible seating options that do not take up much space, but allow them comfortable options to complete assignments.

The resources I have requested would give my students more options beyond their standard classroom desk and chair!

My Project

My students will benefit from being able to work in various places in the classroom through the use of these comfortable floor seats and ball seats. Many students benefit from working in an area with limited distractions. With 26 students and 2 teachers in the classroom, this is difficult to accomplish.

These flexible seats would allow me to rearrange places in our classroom so that students would have different options as far as where they can complete their work.

Learning can be easily enhanced when students have more freedom to work around the classroom in different fun seats!

Teachers fund their own classrooms. It is difficult to purchase all of the things students will benefit from.
