My students need the iPad cases so that we can easily and safely use our iPads. We also need a large mat and would love to have flexible seating options.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
I teach 22 kindergarten students with mixed interests, abilities, and goals. My students need a classroom mat. Right now they each have a free carpet square that I got from a local carpet and tile store. We would love to have a classroom mat that we all feel comfortable on. I can see the smiles on their faces now if I am able to bring in the bright colored puzzle mat.
My students are curious, enthusiastic, and creative.
They learn best through play. I am so lucky to now have 4 iPads in the classroom. I want to make sure we take care of the iPads, so I need iPad cases.
My Project
The iPad cases will allow my students to safely use the iPads in the classroom. WIth the handles, my students can safely move around the room while holding the iPads. This will also help the iPads last for many years to come. The giant play mat will give our class a comfortable seating area to meet as a whole group. Right now, my students just sit on the tile floor. The wobble chairs and the wobble seats will allow my kindergarteners to have flexible seating choices. We all know that kindergarteners do not like to sit still so with these, my students won't have to sit still while sitting and working.
