My classroom is a diverse community of learners. We represent a small town in Southeast Kansas that is trying to raise innovative learners and creative problem solvers. The students in my classroom come from multiple different classrooms. They are learning about places and people from all over the world.
My students are eager to learn.
They love to create, build, read, and solve problems. We have incorporated STEM focus Fridays in our school this school year. Students are using hands-on materials, becoming critical thinkers, and developing their 21st Century learning skills.
My Project
The balance ball chairs give students different options for seating than just a regular classroom chair. This helps them stay engaged in learning as they can move while they learn. We already have wobble seats and we are looking to expand our options.
Students are always excited about the classroom feeling more like a comfy and cozy room and these furniture pieces will help do that!
By having students feel comfortable in their environment, they are motivated and willing to do their best. A classroom community is essential for academic success!
