My students need flexible seating such as stools and chairs with wheels. The students will have a chance to choose where they would like to sit and why not have more choices to pick from!

My Students
I teach first grade at a Title I school. I teach ESL, so many of the students are learning English as a second language.
My classroom is culturally diverse, with many students who come from low income and military families.
All of the students receive free breakfast and lunch every day.
My students are all diverse and learn in multiple ways. I would love for my students to pick a learning environment that will help them become their best learning self!
My Project
My students would use the stools and chairs with wheels to help them pick a learning spot that is best suited for their individual needs.
My students will have the chance to choose where they would like to sit.
They will be allow to move around the room and share ideas and work with others!
By doing so, the students will gain more control in their learning environment! They will become more comfortable where they are learning. They will stay focused on their assignments and become more invested in their work. Additionally, the students will begin to take ownership of their learning!
