This year I will be teaching a group of 25 third graders. They are a diverse group of learners with many different needs. Third graders are full of questions about the world around them. They are transitioning into being the older kids in the school and learning how to be role models and leaders to the younger children.
My students are curious, silly, and kind.
They are all so unique and I love helping them figure out what they are passionate about and how they learn best.
My Project
My students need flexible seating options for our classroom. Sit spots and seat cushions will help students focus during instruction and work time. Many students struggle to focus when sitting in their seats for too long. Flexible seating will be a great option to help with this.
Giving students the option of flexible seating helps students work where they are comfortable, giving them a greater ability to focus and learn in ways that suit them best.
All students learn differently, and flexible seating will help meet the needs of all of my students. I am excited to give my students these options!
