My students need alternative seating options that help them find a space that works best for them in the classroom. The flexible seating options, such as the wobble chairs, will help to promote engagement.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are compassionate, curious, creative and have a genuine love for learning. They enjoy hands on learning, taking an active roll in group projects and challenges that allow for growth! Students come to school each and every day ready to learn and grow both academically and personally.
Our school is a Title 1 school in the heart of L.
My students come from diverse backgrounds and is one aspect that is always celebrated in our classroom! Each student loves coming to school everyday and works hard each and every day. My students stay positive and work very hard to reach their goals! I am very thankful to work with these amazing students!
My Project
When I work, I like to find a comfortable spot where I can focus on my task. Sometimes, that ideal spot is not a traditional desk. The new furniture will provide alternative seating options for my students to help keep them focused and stay engaged! Many students struggle to sit upright in a desk and chair throughout the entire school day. Thus, causing students to loose focus. With flexible seating options students will be able to choose what works best for them, helping to keep them engaged! Much like myself, when my students have the option where and how to work they will find themselves more focused and maximizing every moment of the day for learning!
