My students need a flexible classroom! I have the tables and need the seats and storage! By incorporating seat pockets we can eliminate the desks but keep the storage. Engagement stools will keep my students focused!
I teach a wonderfully eager group of second-grade students. They impress me daily with their creativity and ability to adapt to any lesson or activity. My second-grade class is located in a rural town in Northern California where all of the students at our school receive free and reduced lunch. These students know the importance of school and come in with a wonderful outlook of the task at hand. I hope to bring new and exciting material to my students this year!
My Project
I have been reading about flexible seating for about two years now and finally feel confident enough to make the leap! I have the tables but need to bring in fun engaging seating as well as creative organization. We need seat pockets to allow students to keep items separate and organized. Students develop responsibility by keeping track of their own books, seat pockets will help keep them on track! O boy were there tons of flexible seating choices! The choices I made will allow students to remain engaged and comfortable while offering enough variety to choose what works for them! The magnetic whiteboard easel will allow me to create fun and interactive small groups! Please help me engage my students in the best way possible! By bringing them a fun, organized, and homelike classroom!
