My Students

We have three fifth grade English classes. Our classroom is a place students come with open minds, ready to learn and to think on their own! We have three diverse classes with students from different backgrounds and with various needs. Our students range from students who need continual teacher support to those who need enrichment activities to keep their minds engaged. We have students with autism, ADHD, and other learning disabilities.

The one thing all of our students share is their love and desire to think on their own and have a voice!

My Project

Our students will be able to choose a workspace that most benefits their learning and working needs. They can sit on a comfy floor seat, work at adjustable rectangular table, use their desks, or spread out on the floor. We all need different workspaces and so do our kids!

I’m trying to create a space that is inviting and comforting for students, especially the students who struggle to sit at a desk and chair all day long.

Please help make my students' classroom a place they can work to their best potential, in which they feel comfortable and ready to learn!
