My Students

Working at a school on a military base, I am aware that my students have traveled from all different parts of the world. With this particular lifestyle, my students move many times throughout their lives. The number of moves that a child could experience in their academic career could create gaps in their learning due to the different structures of other schools.

My class of 25 students comes to school everyday, eager to learn.

They come to school with smiles on their faces, ready for new academic challenges. I want to continue to provide a positive and fun learning environment for them to continue to want to learn.

My Project

Having 2 wobble chairs, 4 balance balls and 6 wobble cushions in the classroom will allow my students to find a spot that would work best for them to collaborate with their peers or to work independently. I find it hard being comfortable in one spot all day, so I can only imagine how hard it is for students. Having different options will allow for them to choose how they would like to spend their time. My classroom is evolving and changing, including the way that students learn, so this would only continue to help set up our future for success.
