My students need a Flexible Cozy work space Bundle to create a sense of community and comfort so they can learn more effectively.

My students are a very energetic group of first graders that come from a diverse background. Their families are low-income and at times cannot afford to provide the much needed materials for the class. 100% of the students at our school received free lunch. These families do not have the funds available to purchase things that aren't needed to survive. It is very difficult to provide multiple ways to learn with very minimum sources.
My students are very intrigued with the world around us.
We are constantly reengineering things to keep the room comfortable and inviting. . They love school and learning and really are like little sponges absorbing everything. They are respectful, responsible, loving and deserving of all that life has to offer them!I want to provide each one of them with the necessary materials to help them succeed and become great individuals.
My students come to school full of life and ready to learn! Just like adults get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day, students do too! They need more flexible, comfortable seating options to enhance student engagement and learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable.Children need to move and flexible seating allows them to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand, which increases oxygen flow to the brain, blood flow and core strength. In turn, this burns more calories and increases metabolism. Students are able to bounce on and sit on soft cushions and a comfortable couch.
Flexible seating is critical to enhancing learning across all ages by providing choice, good physical health, comfort, community, collaboration, and communication.
My students need comfy pillows to sit on while reading in their reading center. I would love for them to have a sofa area to sit at during circle time so they would feel more relaxed and at home in our classroom. Evolving the classroom space to meet students’ individual needs impact how they learn, how they interact, and the entire classroom experience. According to Edutopia, Moran has noticed that when a learning space evolves, students' work improves immensely, their grades improve, and “just the conversations they have with each other are so invigorating to hear,” Moran says.
