My students need need to move. These chairs will allow them to wobble, rock, bounce, or lean. These Wobble chairs belong in every class! They help students both physically and mentally.
Our school is a Title I funded charter school. Most of my third grade students receive free breakfast every morning, free or reduced lunch everyday, and some students even receive extra food to take home for the weekends.
My third grade students are smart, loving, and energetic.
These children come to school everyday willing and eager to learn. They take pride in their classroom. We have created an amazing community not only in my classroom, but in our school. These children are simply amazing and they deserve the best.
My Project
Have you ever felt stuck? Well, imagine sitting in the same desk all day long as an eight/nine year old. That’s asking an awful lot of these young children. These three Wobble chairs will really make a difference in my classroom. They will give students the ability to work comfortably in another area that is not their desk. Day after day my students are limited to where they can work in the classroom. They spend all day at their desk doing their work. Students can feel free to choose where they sit with these chairs. They can take them to another area in the class to work. They can sit comfortably with their feet hitting the ground. So often the chairs in the classroom are too big for my students. These Wobble chairs will give them the ability of choice and comfort in the classroom.
Get rid of those jitter bugs.
These three wobble chairs will also help my friends who have a difficult time sitting still while they are working. They will encourage the movement so that students can focus. Instead of putting their feet on the desk or jumping up and down, these chairs will allow my students to release their energy in a safe and effective way while they work.
