We are a "Capturing Kids' Hearts" school that believes "if you have a child's heart, you have their mind". We have worked hard to create relationships with our students and encourage them to create relationships among themselves.
My students are a diverse group of learners.
We appreciate that every child is different and see the strengths and uniqueness in each. As First Graders my students are eager to learn and excited for each new school day. As early learners every day in the classroom is building the foundation for their academic futures.
My Project
Flexible seating options give students the opportunity to choose the way they learn best. As young learners, it is important for students to have brain breaks through out the day as well as changes in seating.
A comfortable environment makes for a better learning environment.
Even adults have a hard time sitting in the same chair for several hours. Therefore I would like to provide my students with alternative seating options.
Previously I introduced 2 wobble seats for students receiving Occupational Therapy. However, the response from the other students was incredible! As the other students tried the wobble seats I noticed their productivity increased.
I would like to provide all of my students with the option of flexible seating to give my students a better learning environment.
