I teach in a rural school in Indiana. I have 26 students in my class this year who come in each day ready to do their best. We have a large population of Amish students within our school. This allows me as a teacher to work through different differentiation techniques on a daily basis to meet the needs of each individual student.
My students are always eager to learn new things and complete hands on activities in the classroom.
They are willing to use a variety of different tools to learn knew information and love to try new things with technology. These students are never afraid to ask questions, as they know it will always help them learn and grow in their knowledge of different topics.
My class is full of students who strive to do their best day in and day out. We take advantage of each and every resource available to us to help us reach our goals and achieve excellence in and out of our classroom!
My Project
My students would benefit from having wobble stools in our classroom on a daily basis. These wobble stools will be used throughout the entire day for several of my students. All 26 of my students will be impacted by having the stools as an option of seating in our classroom.
There are many advantages that come along with these wobble stools.
They are capable of increasing focus, engagement, and motivation in the classroom. I will be able to use these stools in my classroom year after year.
These sensory, wobble stools that I am requesting would especially help those students in my classroom with attention problems, or those who struggle to maintain focus and stamina. The better my students are able to focus, the more they will learn and grow each and every day in the classroom.
All in all, these stools will help the students in my classroom each year. They will help my students stay focused, maintain stamina, and reach their individual goals in the classroom!
