Flexible Seating = Wiggles Gone!

Help me give my students flexible seating that will help them get their wiggles out while getting their work done. My special education students have a hard time sitting still for an extended time.

My Students

My students are Kindergarten and First graders in Special Education. They are all kind, responsible, and hardworking. They help to brighten everyone's day, and are always smiling as you walk past them in the school!

My students come to school full of energy everyday and ready to learn!

They work their hardest practicing letters, letter sounds, and sight words everyday.

My Project

I am requesting four wobble stools which will be used in my classroom for students as a flexible seating option. In my classroom many students have, what I like to call the "the wiggles" which are just one of the barriers to my students learning.

Providing them with a way to move and work would be the best of both worlds for them.

It would mean everything to my students and me to get flexible seating options. As a first year teacher, this is something that I have wanted to provide since I started teaching this year, and I can see now just how impactful it will be!
