My Students

My students are your typical small town children growing up in the 21st century. They love playing sports or video games, getting on YouTube, and hanging out with their friends outside of school. What they do not love is having to sit in a desk for 7 or more hours a day.

My goal is to allow my students flexible seating so that they can be comfortable while learning in the hopes of helping to foster a love of learning.

My Project

Offering my students the freedom to choose where they sit while completing work is such a powerful part of my classroom. With these wobble stools, they will not only be allowed to choose where they sit but also what kind of seat they use. This specifically helps my students who need to have some kind of movement in order to concentrate. I am also asking for some over the ear headphones so that the students who were not able to purchase these at the beginning of the year are able to still benefit from the text to speech feature on their Chromebooks.

My hope is to offer my students the best chance at success that I can.
