My students need padded stools with backrests to allow them to move around the room with more flexible seating options. They also need a few magnetic organizers to keep their materials in order.

My Students

My students are motivated, hard-working individuals that come each and every day ready to learn, ready to try, ready to overcome mistakes they had the day before, and ready to give their 100% each day even when it is tough. Many of my students come from broken homes, homes that are wrecked by trauma and poverty, but that does not stop their motivation or drive to make good choices and to be exceptional. With my love of growth mindsets we talk about how to turn situations around and see the positives and talk about what they can control. This offers students choices in their lives and a new way to look at the world around them.

My Project

My students need to be able to move around the classroom to collaborate, work with one another on math and science work and projects, and to find alternate locations in the room to work along on projects. These 5 stools with backrests will offer students flexible seating that that can still provide adequate back structure and support. Students will be able to use these to work in different areas of the classroom and collaborate more effectively. They also need two magnetic organizers to help keep items near the boards so they won't lose a lot of time searching for needed materials. These materials will allow students to be motivated by working at different locations and happy that they can find what they need instantly.
