I am so fortunate to teach 16 amazing Second Graders every day. My students love learning new things and are always excited for a new day at school. I am always looking for new creative materials to keep them engaged in their learning.
My 7 and 8 year old 2nd Grade students attend a Title 1 school/Focus school with limited funds for resources and supplies.
My students come to school ready to learn and grow. I am always so proud of how much my students grow during the year.
My students need stools, wobble chairs and balance ball chairs to provide flexible seating that allows them to move and find spots that help them stay focused and be productive. Flexible seating will allow my students to wobble, rock, bounce, lean or stand while they are working in the classroom. This will also help keep them alert and focused on a task.
My students will feel empowered by having a choice and control over where they sit.
Flexible seating will allow my students to choose where they want to work and change their positions as needed.
Flexible seating will encourage my students to share and take turns. They will have a lot of opportunities to take turns working in different locations and seating options.
