Help me give my students Flexible seating with Wobble Chairs, a Butterfly Stool, portable lap desk, and other small seating additions as well as small group activities.
I have a wonderful group of 37 kids. I have two kindergarten classes, including an AM class of 15 and a PM class of 22. I work at a Title I school, so their backgrounds differ. I have many with diverse learning styles and capacities. I also have 5 children with IEPs. They strive their hardest to be their very best. We have a great group of kids that support and uplift each other.
My Project
I am a first year teacher. With this, I have no small group materials at the moment. Part of my project will go towards giving these kids activities to help them with their fine motor skills, such as various building blocks.
I also want to set up my classroom to have flexible seating.
Other teachers on my team have done this with great success. I want to give my kids to the option of seating to enrich their learning experience. I have a lot of diversity in the needs of my classroom. I have made a few accommodations to kids for seating and have seen great success in their education. When kids are not comfortable, they will not learn. I have a lot of fidgety kids as well that would benefit greatly from this donation.
