My Students

I have 22 third grade students who are energetic and loving. I have students with many different academic needs. My school has a high percentage of students who receive free or reduced-price lunch as well as a high percentage of students with special needs.would love is flexible seating.

Children need be able to move around to do their best learning.

So let’s make learning flexible. It is important for students to have all resources to help them become a better learner.

My Project

My project is very near and dear to me. We ask children to sit for long periods of time during the day. Think about it; students can sit up to 1 hour at a time during one subject. I know firsthand when I have to sit for a long period of time, I need to stand up in between or move locations. How can students do their best learning if we ask them to stay at a desk for the entire day?This will allow them to build their stamina while working. my project includes 2 flex-space comfy floor seats. This will allow students to get out of their hard seats and find a quiet place anywhere they want on the floor. This item will also help my students that have ADHD to allow them to move while they work. This will provide a working space for students that want to use their laptops independently. I currently have a laptop station, and sometimes it can get loud. This gives those students a space to work independently. These items will benefit my students in such a significant way.
