My students need more flexible seating options such as wobble chairs, balance disc seats and scoop chairs in our classroom. They researched different choices came up with a list of options. They are excited to try the Zenergy ball chairs to improve concentration.

In my class of 4th graders, we have already implemented flexible seating in our classroom and they are thriving! They enjoy coming in each day to make smart choices about their seats and seat partners. The trust we have built together in a flexible classroom environment has set our year up for success.
They are so excited to build a classroom together and to be able to stretch out and move around.
My Project
The flexible seating options my class is requesting will improve focus and comfort, and will provide stress relief. The ball chairs and wiggle seats will allow students to move their bodies in order to focus on the lessons being taught. The bean bag chair will provide a comfy reading nook for students to get "lost" in. The coffee table and seat cushions will provide a space to work on the floor, closer to the board, without blocking the view of other students. The seating options will improve posture and/or concentration.
My students love having room to spread out in our classroom; they say flexible seating choices bring them into "the zen mode".
When they are more comfortable and able to relax, their learning grows by leaps and bounds!
