My history and civics classroom is a place that students can get hands-on with learning. We are always collaborating and running simulations. The lessons are student-driven and center around dynamic and engaging activities that will promote learning and get the students excited.
My students are innovative, energetic, and driven.
They like to move and interact with the material that they are learning. My high school is a suburban high school in North Carolina. Our students are extremely involved with the school and the surrounding community and come from a variety of economic backgrounds. They proudly boast that they attend the "greatest school in NC."
My Project
My students love their flexible seating options and I want to expand to allow them to truly get to sit where it is the most comfortable every day.
The donations in this project will help my students to learn in a comfortable environment, increasing their level of understanding.
My students are active learners an love the tall tables, stools, wiggle cushions, and foam cushions that we currently have. They love all of them so much that there is too much demand and not enough supply! The CorLiving bar stools in conjunction with the Ikea Desks will allow more students to sit at tall tables, allowing them to expel energy and truly focus on class.
