My students need therapy bands to put on the bottom of their chairs to keep those little feet busy, along with wiggle seats as a seating option. These options help my young students focus.
I have 23 little first-grade students who are hardworking, caring and eager to learn. We are one of my first-grade classes in our small but growing district.
We are always thinking of others and finding new ways to explore.
We love using technology and mixing it into our daily routines. We just can't get enough!
We are so excited at the thought of new technology in our classrooms and the possibilities of what we can soon be able to do!
My Project
All of these materials will be used daily by all students! The therapy bands will be on the bottom of students chairs so their feet can continue to move or kick if they need.
These materials will help my students continue to focus while still being able to move!
Purchasing more wiggle seats will allow more students to be able to move their bodies while they work and focus.
We have a few of these materials already and the students are sharing them now. We have to take turns with the two wiggle seats we have now, and although the students are professionals with sharing, I would love for my students to not have to share who gets help with staying focused!
