My Students

Our classroom has 24 amazing fourth graders. The classroom is fully inclusive, including special education students, students who are learning English, and students with a wide variety of learning needs. With so many different learners, we really try to meet the needs of every one. When asked, our class describes themselves as "awesome, caring, kind and respectful to others." We strive to see differences as strengths! Our amazing school is a Kindergarten through fifth grade public, elementary school in Nashua, New Hampshire.

My Project

Flexible seating with exercise ball seats will help my fourth grade students more actively focus. These seats are unique because of the small legs which make sure they don't roll away. This set of six balls will allow much more seating choice in our classroom. My students will love them!

Flexible seating options in the classroom, including balance exercise balls, allows my students to stay engaged and listening during direct instruction lessons.

Using a choice of seating also allows students to build their core strength as they are ready. These "chairs" give my students the option to move and work at the same time.
