Flexible Seating Options in a Dual Language Classroom
Help me give my students more options on where to sit around the room.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
I teach a wonderfully diverse group of thirty-eight first grade students. They are excited and eager to learn and providing them with flexible seating options will really help me meet their needs.
My school is a Title I school and there is about 45% of the student population that comes from low-income families.
Your generous donation will really help me provide my students with more seats that meet their learning needs. Students at this age like to move around and have different seating options.
I teach Spanish to my 38 first grade dual language students. Some students come in not knowing any Spanish and it is important for them to feel comfortable in the classroom while learning another language. Although we have some flex seating options, we do not have enough. These flexible seating options will help students feel comfortable when they are reading Spanish books in our classroom library, when they are listening to me teach during our whole group lessons and when we are working on guided reading in Spanish. Learning another language can be challenging so it is important to offer students comfortable seating options so they can focus and do their personal best.
