My Students

I teach a wonderful, diverse group of kindergarten students! My 24 kids are energetic, funny, and eager to learn. We spend the majority of our days working in small collaborative groups. Our collaboration has greatly increased since we got flexible seating options at the beginning of the year.

I can't wait to see what these new flexible seating options will do for my students!

We all learn differently, and giving my students more options will be so exciting for them!

My Project

We are hoping to get these wobble chairs for our classroom! We have loved using flexible seating in our kindergarten classroom this year. We currently have yoga balls, seat cushions, bouncy bands, yoga mats, a standing table, and a low table. The kids love being able to responsibly choose which seating option that works best for them.

These wobble chairs will create another amazing flexible seating option for us!

The wobble chairs will help with our core strength and offer another great alternative for our classroom. By giving students their choice, we are giving them the freedom to make their best choices at a young age. They're not only learning academics in our classroom, but they're learning about personal space and self-awareness.
