Help me give my students flexible seating for the classroom. Balance ball chairs, floor seats and wobble chairs will help them move and learn at the same time!
I love my kindergarten students! They come into the classroom so excited to see each other. We have really made an effort to have a close community. We know that we come to school to learn, but as we are learning we have fun with each other. My students are full of energy and so eager to learn.
They care about one another and want to help others whenever they can.
In our classroom, we want to do our best even if it is hard at first. We are learning how to become independent and make good choices for our future.
My Project
I choose three different types of flexible seating for the classroom; wobble seats, balance balls and floor seats. I want the students to have options, so that they will be able to focus on their school work.
Five and six year olds need to be able to wiggle around and flexible seating will allow for them to do this while also focusing on their school work.
The students will be able to try out the three options and rotate around, so that they all get a chance to try them all out to see which is best for their learning. By having flexible seating the students will be able to move around, be creative, and focused.
