My Project

Flexible seating gives students the opportunity to choose seating arrangements that work best for them. It allows them to be more comfortable and have control over their environment. Research says that flexible seating options keeps students are more engaged.

Flexible seating also helps make the classroom a more homey and inviting environment.

It helps students to feel more relaxed and ready to learn. It's recommended by most SEL practices as it supports an increase positive behaviors and leads to an improvement in overall classroom success.

Furnishing a classroom is incredibly expensive. My students enjoy the few flexible seating options that I already have, but there isn't enough of these spaces for everyone. I would like to offer more options with a rolling desk and stool.
