Flexible Seating Options for a 4th/5th Combo Class!
Help me give my students in my 4/5 combination class yoga balls and lap desks for efficient flexible seating. They'll also benefit from the new core literature book set!
I teach a diverse group of enthusiastic 4th and 5th graders! The students in my class embrace our rigorous curriculum with a Growth Mindset. They love to explore new concepts and collaborate with one another.
There are learners of all levels in my classroom and the requested resources will help support all of my students, especially those with special needs.
My amazing students are working hard to embrace their time in a combination class with a positive attitude. They take ownership of their learning by self-monitoring and setting goals.
My Project
This project will greatly help the students in my 4th/5th grade combination class. My students must move around the classroom regularly as they switch between teacher directed instruction and independent work. The students are in need of flexible seating options, namely yoga balls and lap desks. These items will allow the students to move to different areas in the classroom, which helps prevent them from becoming distracted by my instruction time with the other grade level.
This project will help my amazing combo class students work efficiently in the classroom!
While we do a lot of switching and moving, we also work together as a whole class. The class set of Wayside School books are a part of the new 4/5 core literature curriculum. The story is enjoyable and will allow me to teach both grade level standards to the students.
