My students are kind and caring third graders who come to school everyday with a smile and are always eager to learn. They are willing to take risks, try new skills and help one another. They don’t let their struggles get in their way of succeeding. Instead, they work harder and persevere. My students try to give compliments and do good deeds for others. They are students of good character! I love when they make me homemade cards and write kind words thanking me for being their teacher. Or at the end of the day when I can’t get them to leave because they love being at school. My students deserve to have the best flexible seating to enhance their learning experience!
Flexible seating provides students with a variety of options on where they want to learn around the classroom. They are able to take charge of their own learning. My students spend a great deal of time working with their partners around the classroom. Whether they are having an in depth conversation about a good book or thinking critically to solve multiplication and division word problems, they are always working hard. My third graders also work with their partners around the room during writing to help one another develop strong writing pieces. My students are more engaged when they are able to move around the room and chose where they want to work. The products I have selected will help my students by giving them additional seating options to make more effective learning choices. The floor table and cushions will provide my students with a comfortable place to meet to complete their work. The bouncy balls will allow those students who have trouble sitting still, the opportunity to get their jitters out. And the students who chose to use the bean bag chair will be able to snuggle up to good book! School needs to be a fun place to learn!
