My students are creative, thoughtful and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects and challenges that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are my inspiration!
My students need flexible seating to help them stay motivated and focused in the classroom during direct instruction and independent work.
My students need different seating to help them exert their energy in a positive way. My classroom in full of learners who learn in many diverse way. Having movement and flexible seating is essential in my classroom everyday.
My students come to school full of life and ready to learn! Just like adults get tired of sitting in hard chairs all day, students do too! They need more flexible/comfortable seating options to enhance student engagement and learning. Studies show that students learn better when they are physically active and comfortable. Students are able to bounce on an exercise ball, sit, stand, kneel, etc.
Some of the seating options that will be provided with this project are exercise balls and fidget feet bands.
Both of these options will give my students the opportunity to sit comfortably and move around while they are learning. This project would significantly help my students stay engaged in our learning throughout the day. I want them to feel comfortable and at home in our classroom. I cannot wait to see all of the things we can do with flexible seating!
