I teach second grade at a school where students thrive on the success of each other, creating a loving environment for their classmates. Every morning, my students come to class with an eagerness to learn. They are a group of 19 amazing students, who work hard to come out on top with their learning.
My students encourage each other to be the best they can be and to create a loving community throughout the classroom.

My Project
Flexible seating has begun to transform our classroom this year. We are transitioning our traditional 2nd grade classroom into a flexible seating classroom little by little. With the help of Donor'sChoose, we are half way there! These bean bag chairs will be in a special place in our classroom library. It will allow students to read their books in comfort.
These bean bag chairs will be in a sacred reading area where students can escape inside a book.
They will allow students another opportunity to choose where they learn best. Last but not least, these chairs are fun! My second graders will love having a comfortable and colorful space to read their books. These chairs are just what we need to move one step closer to having our classroom transformed by flexible seating.
